Terao Bukatako Kite Festival

It is a seasonal festival commemorated with kite-flying with a 150 year history. In order to pass down this tradition to future generations, its preserving association was established in 1978. A bukatako kite is a landscape-rectangle kite consisted of four skewers, two strings each attached on top and bottom, and no tails.
