Establishment
Hamamatsu Industrial Exhibition Hall (Hamamatsu Sōgō Sangyo Tenjikan) was established as a part of celebration of the 60th anniversary of the city in 1971. Its purpose is to stimulate industries in the region. It serves as the base of distribution in Hamamatsu by holding exhibitions and trade fairs.

In July 2009, the North Exhibition Building reopened equipping rooms for meetings and trainings, and halls for versatile use such as small concerts, lectures, and exhibitions. (Hall-1: capacity of 344 people, Hall-2: capacity of 80 people) Exhibition Building has Exhibition Space 1 for exhibition for heavy materials and various kinds of trade fair, Exhibition Space 2, and Exhibition Space 3 for light materials.
